Pollensa (Puerto Pollensa) is a charming holiday town located on the north east corner of Majorca in Spain, at the foot the Tramuntana mountain range (Serra de Tramuntana), in the Pollensa Bay. Pollensa is one of the most popular holiday resorts in Majorca, Spain.

Puerto Pollensa is the port, beach, tourist and accommodation area of Pollensa and it is located about 5 km. from the old town of Pollensa.

The fisrt beach is Pollensa beach that is located on the south of the Marina. The second beach is called Albercutx beach and runs from the Marina north in front of the Pine Walk. Coastline of Pollensa is also wonderful. There are plenty of little coves to visit by boat and the coast hosts top snorkelling spots in Majorca. For the ones who want escape the crowds, Formentor beach is another great choice. Holidaymakers may catch a boat from the marina of Pollensa to the secluded cove of Formenter and enjoy the Formentor beach.

For the ones to explore the surrounding area, other popular holiday resort of Alcudia is located only 8 km. from Pollensa. Holidaymakers may visit the old town of Alcudia and explore the Roman ruins, ancient city walls and quaint narrow streets and have great day out.
